Focus on showing one type each day and make an effort to say and show it.
Are you grateful today?
Talk about the things you are grateful for - even when it seems so difficult, you can find things.
Be grateful to other members of your family.
Say to your child “I’m so grateful you made your bed today, thanks!”
Tell your partner, “I loved it when you emptied the bin, I am grateful for you!”
Thank them for cooking you dinner!
As you practice these types of gratitudes, notice how your mood and your child’s mood start to change.
You really will have a positive effect on those around you, and yourself too!
